4 days and counting

I am excited to say that I have 4 days left of my Whole30 before I start the reintegration process and this has been a very humbling and great experience. I always took pride in how "clean" I use to eat and nothing quite compares to this. It's challenging, rewarding and very informative. I have learned a lot about my ability to be very disciplined, set new standards for myself and had great results. Although this program isn't designed as a weight loss program but as a detoxification I with out a doubt have lost some body fat along the way. I will be doing an InBody scan this evening with Dr Rayme Geidl to evaluate my results and will be posting them tomorrow to share. There are a few things I recommend before tackling this journey of the whole30 - GET SUPPORT - make sure you have family and friends supporting you along the way.

BE PREPARED - you will be hangry at times and frustrated that there isn't anything quick and easy to fuel up on if you aren't prepared. Meal prep, read labels, and learn about what you are putting in your body. SUGAR is everywhere my friends - EVERYWHERE!!!

EMBRACE - Use this opportunity to challenge yourself, prove your worth and how important your body is to you. As you get through the obstacles each day you will feel more empowered and proud of yourself. This is no easy journey.

EVALUATE - take the time in the last week to really evaluate the reintegration process. What have you eliminated that is really that important to add back into your life. Take your time through the reintegration process to learn how your body will respond to the foods you've eliminated. There is a reason this is hard, and that your body was tired and felt sick during the process of the whole30, you are going through detoxification. So don't throw it all away in the first week by eating a bunch of garbage!! Follow the steps all the way through!!
